It is our shop, display counter, whole-cake collection point and main preparation site. We do not make sandwiches or the Full English here: this kitchen is designed primarily for production.

Does The Gay Baker Surquillo have a private room?

Intimate events of up to 12 guests.

A small separate room for celebrations, private Afternoon Tea, meetings and gatherings that need something more intimate.

Part of the experience before you even walk in

When we opened, the original idea was almost a takeaway window. It became a full shop, inspired by the way British shops and pubs use flowers, colour and storefronts to catch the eye, start conversations and make passers-by smile.
