Why it sits beside the Blackout

Our Whipped Caramel has a sweeter, more contemporary profile than the London Blackout. That lets us have two chocolate cakes telling completely different stories: one comes from Doreen and family memory; the other reflects what is happening in British baking right now.

Our version

We make it with 70% Quillabamba chocolate and whipped caramel ganache. We are not trying to hide its origin: part of the point is being able to say where it came from and why we thought it was good enough to make here.
